The Brew is a café and bakery that takes on the aesthetic of a rustic neighborhood. The environment incorporates colors and textures of the natural world that take visitors to a relaxing place. Luxurious materials coat the seating surfaces, allowing those to sink into their seats and take a break from their daily troubles. The palette throughout the café is reminiscent of nature, utilizing soft curves and transitions to ease the eye throughout the interior.
Customers experience moments of pause under intimate dropped ceiling heights, as well as moments of wonder beneath the elegant curves of painted walls. Each new seating arrangement brings a unique experience to the community presence throughout the space.
The café utilizes warm and cool tones of light to define different uses of fixtures. The general ambient lighting throughout the space is created with recessed can lights at 4000k to create a bright and equal environment. Accent and decorative lighting harmonizes the unique seating sections throughout the space, using aged brass as a pop of luxurious materials. This layer of light is made of pendants at 2700k and 3000k. Additional pendants create a play of brilliance effect as a storefront draw at 3000k. These fixtures are reminiscent of a rustic lighting source and can be seen over the service counter, in the front window, and above the community table. Track lighting highlights wall graphics as a layer of focused lighting.
